| 1989 – Poliol Bt. is founded. The founders of the Bt. were 3 former college students. The company was founded with the goal of achieving success in the PET industry, which was on the rise at the time.. 1995 – Ownership changes, the company becomes family-owned. 1997– POLIOL Bt. starts its plastics industry activity, the production of PET bottles, with the help of a second-hand German bottle blowing machine. 1999 – In addition to bottle production, the development of a bottle blowing machine of the Company's own design based on its intellectual capital is started and by the end of the year the first POLIOL 2-cavity manually operated bottle blowing machine is completed. The prototype is not yet built purely from in-house developed parts, but will be further refined over the coming years. |  |
 | 2000– The first automatic 1-cavity purely pneumatic bottle blowing machine is completed, which continues to build on the knowledge and experience available in the Company, complemented by the increase in in-house manufacturing capacity, which has contributed significantly to the economic stability and development of the Company. 2004 – In our own plant, we reach a production volume of 100 million units per year. 2006 – 80 million bottles are produced for Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. 2007 – POLIOL PET PACKAGING Ltd. is established as the legal successor of the company, which is still operating in its current form. The first machine was sold to Belgium, but since then we have also had POLIOL bottle blowing machines in operation in Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Croatia and Algeria. |
| 2008 – Our Szentkirályi 5-litre bottle of is awarded a PRIZE OF MERIT (NÍVÓDÍJ). As part of our digital technology, we introduce our in-house developed PS 02 integrated ERP system, which is be continuously improved until 2021, when it is be replaced by a new, more modern system. 2010 – As a result of the commitment and development of both the Company and its staff, further developments result in the completion of the fully electrically operated UNI bottle blowing machine range. 2013 – As part of the site reconstruction, a new wing is built alongside the renovation of the old building, integrating all the service rooms. The development of production technology will start this year. In addition to several new conventional lathes, new 3-axis and 5-axis metal-working centres will be installed to produce the parts needed for bottle-blowing machines with high precision. 2014 – The company has been committed to reducing energy consumption for a long time, so taking advantage of technical, production technology, but most of all electrical engineering advances, the next step in machine development is the latest development of the POLIOL bottle blowing machines, based on purely Hungarian know-how, knowledge and production experience, with a purely electrically controlled servo motor, which will help achieve more precise operation, lower energy consumption and higher productivity. |  |
 | 2019 – We are changing ownership. The previous owners sold their shares to Károly Varga, so Károly Varga is now the sole owner of 100% of the Company. 2021 – Investment in a new warehouse and renovation of a metalworking hall, as well as the purchase of metalworking machinery. While maintaining our core activities in the same form, but under the new name POLIOL Machine Manufacturing and Packaging Technology Ltd, we continue to pursue our main strategic goal of GROWTH. |
